At last night’s 2016 AMAs, Green Day expressed their political views in the middle of their performance of single “Bang Bang.” During their set, the band went in a different direction for a bit to chant the popular lines that have been heard in a lot of the recent anti-Trump protests: “No Trump/ No KKK/ No fascist USA!”
As Consequence of Sound points out, the chant is inspired by MDC’s “Born To Die.” Check out the performance above.
