Check out the latest offering from Franz Ferdinand titled, “Demagogue,” their anti-Trump song. A very fitting word to describe the Republican nominee for the presidency, and the lyrics mention “pussy-grabbing fingers” and “from the mob to chapter 11.” Overall it’s good to see these guys are back, and the throwback Punk appeal of this track is just as refreshing.
The song was released as part of the the 30 Days, 30 Songs program created by writer Dave Eggers that previously unleashed Death Cab for Cuties’ “Million Dollar Loan.” The program will release a new song everyday until Election Day (Tuesday, November 8).
