Nick D & The Believers have shared their new EP Crown. The EP rounds up 5 tracks, and it’s a collection of different sounds that fans of Indie music will enjoy. There are plenty of high moments on this project, which will surely secure some new fans left and right.
The title track is a bit more downtempo for the most part but then it livens up when all of the instruments (and especially some catchy synths) come together during the chorus. “Bad Man” feels like a contemporary take on something you’d hear during the Swinging London era that will surely make you want to bob-and-shake. “Feels Magic” sounds primed for radio with its sing-along chorus and “ay-o”s, but the bridge gives it a nice Indie darling feel, a la Beirut, with its flourishing horns and piano parts. The grooving vibes in “Room Starts Shaking” sound like something you want to hear on the dance floor, while “Find You” closes things out with a more straight up, modern Pop-Rock radio approach.
