This past week, the good people over at Hennessy honored longtime POD staple and one of Chicago’s buzzing artists Mike Golden with a Hennessy Privilege Toast (#PrivilegeToast). Hosted by Ruben Trejo of Team Hennessy, Hennessy Privilege Toast is meant to honor individuals doing well in their respective areas of entertainment, music and business. With everything that Golden has accomplished the last few years, including recent Red Eye cover and new album, it was only right that he was honored with a toast.
The dinner was held this past Thursday at Sushi Dokku, which was quite delicious if I do say so myself. There were plenty of Hennessy signature drinks to go around which made for a great night. We were honored to be in attendance alongside Mike, his manager, his band and Lit Ziplin. As soon as dinner was over, Mike and his band were all business and went to rehearse at Fort Knox for their headlining show at Double Door the following night. Cheers to Mike and his crew, he truly deserves all that he has received and whatever else may come in the future. Be sure to give Just Be A Better Person a listen and see what all the hype is about.
