While on tour in support of their latest album, Coldplay hit New Jersey‘s MetLife Stadium over the weekend where Chris Martin and co. had something special for fans. At one of those NJ shows Martin showed a clip in which his son requested the band play songs that appear on their “favorite movie Back to the Future.”
In response, the crew called upon the actor that played the movie’s lead character Marty McFly: Michael J. Fox. The actor played guitar as he and Coldplay performed the Penguins’ “Earth Angel” and Chuck Berry’s “Johnny B. Goode,” both of which appeared in the school dance scene.
