Goose Island and Twin Peaks Create “Natural Villain” Beer for Pitchfork Music Festival

Twin Peaks Goose Island Natural Villain

Goose Island Beer Company have partnered with Chicago stars Twin Peaks to create a new brew for the upcoming Pitchfork Music Festival. The Goose Island X Twin Peaks collab is called “Natural Villain,” which the band describes on their Facebook as “a ‘Garage Lager’ we designed after drinking some of our favorite beers like Modelo USA, Pacifico Beer and Sol Beer. The name for the beer itself came from the Twin Peaks dudes’ song of the same name, which appeared on 2013’s Sunken. You can taste some “Natural Villain” at the Pitchfork Music Festival, taking place in Chicago’s Union Park from July 15-17.

According to Pitchfork, since 2013, artists have been working with Goose Island to brew up one-of-a-kind beers for Pitchfork Music Festival. Past collaborations include Chance the Rapper’s “No Collar,” Sharon Van Etten’s SVE Kölsch, and a Run the Jewels Wheat Ale.

We got to try out that “No Collar” and it was mighty tasty, so I can only imagine that a Mexican lager-inspired beer would be right up our alley.
