Arcade Fire leaders Win Butler and Régine Chassagne are in France participating in a new exhibition JR Au Louvre, put together by local street artist JR. While there the AF members played a surprise concert in the gardens nearby instead of the DJ set they were originally scheduled to put on there.
The first clip that hit online saw the band play renditions of David Bowie’s “Oh! You Pretty Things” and Sinead O’Connor’s recording of “Nothing Compares 2 U,” as Pitchfork points out. Not only that, Butler and Chassagne play a new song. Check out the short clip below.
