Despite a rocky relationship in the past, Axl Rose has a lot thank Dave Grohl for these days as it was the latter’s badass guitar throne that allowed the GNR frontman to hit the stage at the first of the band’s two nights in Vegas.
Last year the Foo Fighters’ Sonic Highways Tour was also dubbed the “broken leg tour” after Grohl’s injury, which didn’t keep the Foos lead singer from delivering brilliant performances night after night. Rose could have been looking to channel those same Rock God vibes from that throne, as you can see above, after his own foot injury forced him to perform from his seat.
