For their How Big How Blue How Beautiful tour finale in Paris’s Le Zénith, Florence + The Machine gave the “city of love” a dose of good vibes to help with the healing process following the terror attacks from a month ago. Flo and her crew added to their set covers of The Beatles and Eagles of Death Metal.
During the encore the band performed both EODM’s “I Love You All The Time” and the Beatles classic “All You Need is Love.” The Magical Mystery Tour cut (above) got a nice folksy, stripped down redoing that surely caused an attending fan or two to shed some tears while the Eagles of Death Metal cover saw the band bring out The Maccabees to perform it.
