In the buildup to the long-awaited release of new album 25, Adele got together with Graham Norton for a little prank that would the singer transform herself into an Adele impersonator to test her singing chops at an audition with other impersonators. The woman behind “Hello” dons a fake nose and chin to become Jenny before joining her fellow aspiring Adeles, throwing shade at her own self while the rest of crew defend their idol from Jenny’s comments.
The moment of the big reveal is quite nice actually, as the impersonators are left in disbelief for a while until they realize they have the real thing singing in the most intimate setting they could have ever hoped for. See that above.
