Julian Casablancas + The Voidz played Beach Goth Festival this past weekend and during their set the band performed an unlikely cover of Milli Vanilla’s “Girl You Know It’s True.” The fuzzed-out rendition actually sounded pretty dope with the live instrumentation, reviving the track from its dated 80s sound.
That wasn’t the only cover of the weekend for Mr. Casablancas, who also hit the stage with The Growlers to do a rendition of The Doors’ “People Are Strange.” See that one below.
