Titus Andronicus is one of those bands you can always depend on for good, sincere, and no-holds-barred original music but they’ve also made a good name for themselves in the “covers” department and their latest subject is one of the songs of the year “The Hills.” TA frontman Patrick Stickles tackled the bass-heavy track by The Weeknd during a recent in-studio session on SiriusXM and the result is quite extraordinary, actually.
This version is stripped down to just vocals and an electric and delivered with a much more guttural passion, that almost makes it sound like this could’ve stood on its own had this been the song’s original form. Hear the cover below.
