Chance The Rapper is not stopping at creating one of the best albums of the year, or starring as a werewolf in Slice, or putting on festivals strictly for teens to show his appreciation of their support, now he also has his own craft beer.
Chance is the latest artist to partner up with Goose Island to curate and craft their own beers for Pitchfork Music Festival. Mr. Bennett follows up Run The Jewels’ and Sharon Van Etten’s beers, and his brew is called No Collar. According to the Chicago Tribune, the idea for the brew came from Chance’s suggestion of a beer for “the hardworking people of Chicago” and he elaborated on that by saying that it should be “exactly what you want to drink after a long day of work.”
The Helles-style lager with a 5.3% ABV is debuting next weekend, but it’s safe to assume that it’ll run out if you hesitate. No Collar will be available at some Chicago breweries after the festival ends, but there’s no chance we’re not downing a couple of cups of this stuff while we’re at the P4k.
