Arcade Fire will follow up being named the best Canadian band of all time by releasing their very first feature film to be titled The Reflektor Tapes. An official statement states that the new project is “a unique cinematic experience, meeting at the crossroads of documentary, music, art and personal history.”
The film will be directed by Kahlil Joseph, who’s worked for the likes of FKA twigs and Kendrick Lamar, and it will boast a new and unreleased Arcade Fire track along with 20 minutes of footage filmed specifically for the film. A portion of the film has been released set to their tune “Porno” and the band has also released the trailer, which you can see below.
