Get your “devil horns” out… Over the past weekend the 2015 X Games were held in Austin, TX and the over-the-top nature of the event went beyond just the sports competitionĀ and included performances from Thrash Metal icons Metallica.
Above you can check out a clip of all that went downĀ behind-the-scenes from meeting fans to rehearsals, before finishing off with the band performing their Kill ‘Em All track “Whiplash.” The bandĀ recorded their X Games gigĀ and are now selling digital copies āĀ in MP3, FLAC, Apple Lossless and HD formats ā at theirĀ Live Metallica website.
Metallica have joined forces withĀ ESPN and Circuit for the Americas to assist victims of recent flooding, for which the band is donating all the money coming in from download sales to the Central Texas Red Cross. All versions cost $5 through July 15th.
