Spanish giants Real Madrid and adidas today present the new kits for the team’s 2015-2016 season. The new kits are meant to follow a theme of “only perfect counts,” an idea embodied in the color combinations of the new home and away kits.
The Home shirt is in its customary white and it is combined with silver grey in the three stripes of the shirt. Inside the neck you’ll find the club crest with the inscription “hala madrid y nada más” (“Come on Madrid and nothing else,” from the club anthem) in silver grey. The crest stands out on the white and grey and displays the traditional colors of the club in a high-density, heat-sealed execution with different textures.
The new Away kit ditches the bright pink used last year for the silver grey used as an accent in the Home kit. The metallic tone was used as an homage to all the trophies that Real Madrid has won throughout its rich history and all the trophies it strives to win. This color is called Silver Glory and represents all of the trophies that Real Madrid has conquered, woven into a unique and unequalled shirt.
