When we first learned that Hurt Everybody and Twin Peaks were collaborating on a track, this instantly started a mini countdown in our heads until it finally came, and today we can finally say it’s arrived! “Before The War” brings together the Hip Hop collective with one of the most exciting Chicago bands, with the backbone of the beat produced by Hurt Everybody while the Twin Peaks dudes laid down guitar riffs and shimmering solos.
The song title (along with the artwork) is very indicative of its sound with a “calm before the storm” vibe. I gotta say, this second single off forthcoming project 2K47 is one of their best yet. Hear the track after the jump.
