Julian Casablancas has finally shared the visuals for “Human Sadness,” his track with his other band The Voidz. The 13 minute-long Tyranny song’s post-apocalyptic video was put together with directors Warren Fu and Nicholaus Goossen, and Jules himself says it was inspired by the Titanic’s eight-member orchestra, who are said to have played until their deaths.
Casablancas told Rolling Stone:
“It just seemed like a fitting concept… The world’s gonna end and you decide to play music. That’s basically what happened on the Titanic and in a weird, dark, ‘sad’ way – forgive me – it’s kind of like life: dark. But you can look at life as ‘managing denial.'”
