Next month will see the release of The Rolling Stones’ deluxe reissue of their classic 1971 album Sticky Fingers. Today the iconic and longest running Rock band has released a cut from that album in an alternate version of “Dead Flowers.” This track follows other classic tunes released from the forthcoming reissue like “Bitch,” “Can’t You Hear Me Knocking,” and “Wild Horses.”
This version loses a bit of that southern twang of the one that was ultimately pressed on the record, but the essence is left intact. Hear it below.
