This summer React Presents is ecstatic to announce Mamby on the Beach, Chicago’s newest two-day festival, taking place at a new and untouched lakefront venue on Oakwood Beach.
With this announcement comes the inaugural lineup featuring Empire Of The Sun and Passion Pit. Some of other notable acts that make up the roster are the legendary Röyksopp, indie-electro tastemakers Phantogram, as well as Robert DeLong, Com Truise, Tanlines, and No Regular Play, plus DJ sets by indie icons James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and Cut Copy. The poster comes with a couple of question marks, so look out for further lineup announcements.
The beachside festival boasts Chicago’s gorgeous skyline as its backdrop, featuring two stages hosting live performances by established and legendary artists in the indie-dance world, plus a selection of the world’s most innovative house and techno producers.
The inaugural event is slated for Saturday, July 11th, and Sunday, July 12th, from 1 PM – 10 PM, and is 18+. Tickets are on sale now at www.mambybeach.com!

React Presents will provide numerous travel options for the festival with accommodations for premium parking, free shuttles from designated pickup areas, and a bike valet via the bike path which runs directly to Oakwood Beach. Free shuttle services will be available for all attendees from the CTA Cermak-China Town Red Line and Cermak-McCormick Place Green Line, and the McCormick Place marshaling lot, running from noon until 11pm each day. The location is also accessible by Taxi, Uber, and Lyft drivers to assure festival goers that their easy and safe commute is a top priority.
