Stone Sour have recorded a special EP for Record Store Day composed of covers of some of Rock’s biggest bands. The first cut of that EP is their cover of Metallica’s “Creeping Death,” and it’s the perfect tribute by a lifelong fan.
The Ride The Lightning stand-out is a Thrash-era classic, and vocalist Corey Taylor and his crew did a magnificent job of staying true to the original. It Rocks so damn much! Taylor told Rolling Stone:
“We wanted to show our respect for our influences with these covers and it wouldn’t be complete without Metallica… The hardest part about making this EP for me was picking a Metallica song.”
