Kanye West follows in his wife’s footsteps and has become the latest subject to be the featured cover story for Paper Magazine.
The essay by Kanye (and relayed by Gabby Bess) is titled “The American Dream,” focusing on the Chicago rapper’s undying ambition, his non-affiliation with the Illuminati, and what it’s like making music. About the latter he states:
“It’s just harder for me to do music now, period… It’s easier for people who focus on it all day and who are younger in their concept of what they want to do with it. I am not what I would consider truly a musician. I am an inventor. I am an innovator.”
