Vic Mensa made his big return to Chicago since being out in London and Paris working with Kanye West for his new album. This was our first time checking out a show at Chop Shop, so seeing how intimate the venue definitely added to overall coolness of landing a ticket to the show. Vic hit the stage and opened up his set with “Feel That,” then proceeded to perform fan favorites like “Orange Soda” and “Wimme Nah.”
The night wouldn’t feel right without Vic performing his recent Kanye West collaboration, “Wolves.” Vic saved the song for the end of the night and the crowd seemed really into the performance. Probably the highlight of the night. Vic covering N.E.R.D.’s “She Wants To Move” was nice bonus as well. Check out more performance footage below.
