Palma Violets have unveiled a new cut from forthcoming album Danger In The Club. The new song is the Folk-y “English Tongue.”
Talking to FADER, frontman Sam Fryer said:
“‘English Tongue’ is the last song we wrote for the album… We thought it sounded like an American country folk song with English lyrics and emotion. Then the name and character of Hugh Diver appeared, a man tied down by the pressures of fame and religion.”
The band’s new album, Danger in the Club, will be released via Rough Trade on May 5th. Hear “English Tongue” below.
