Nirvana’s infamous Buenos Aires, Argentina concert has been uncovered and now available to see via YouTube. During that 1992 show, Kurt Cobain and co. took the stage of the Estadio José Amalfitani to play before a crowd of 50,000 in the midst of Nevermind‘s success.
During their performance, Cobain mocked the attendees by playing mostly rarities and would tease the intro to “Smells Like Teen Spirit” before switching to another song and never actually playing the hit. They even played the rare “Nobody Knows I’m New Wave,” a Nirvana song that ultimately never saw a release. Check out the newly surfaced concert above.
