The second single from Modest Mouse’s Strangers To Ourselves has been released and it comes paired with new music video that’s just been released today. The visuals for “Coyotes” portray the song’s lyrics about a 2002 incident during which a coyote rode Portland’s MAX light rail train, which Stereogum points out also inspired Sleater-Kinney’s “Light Rail Coyote.”
“Coyotes” will be the B-side of a limited edition “Strangers To Ourselves” 7″ available with vinyl pre-orders and on release day at select retailers. Check out the new video now above or over at fan site Interstate 8.
