Check out the latest release from Nike for FC Barcelona and Brazil star Neymar Jr. The new boots are the Hypervenom Liquid Diamond, and they are inspired by the footballer’s affinity for diamonds and his relationship with his sister.
Nike’s design team used those pieces of Neymar’s personal life to create the unique colorway. Max Blau, VP Nike Football Footwear said in the press release:
“We take inspiration from Neymar Jr.’s play and personality… He attacks the defense with a style so fluid, it reminded us of water flowing between rocks. That’s when we started shifting our thoughts from incorporating a nod to diamonds, to creating a liquid diamond aesthetic for the entire upper.”
The Hypervenom Liquid Diamond will be available for pre-sale via the Nike Football App starting January 26 and will be on nike.com on Jan. 28. Peep a full gallery after the jump.
