Over the weekend Saturday Night Live tackled the events going down in FergusonĀ during the “cold opening” but they also had plans on featuring a sketch on the subject during the James Franco-hosted episode. The sketch, filmed during dress rehearsal, was ultimately cut from the show for time but now that it has surfaced online, we still get to see it in all its hilarious glory.
The “Morning News” bit is a perfect example of how a lot of these saccharine shows can fumble a story like that, sometimes in the most painfully awkward ways. Check it out above.
