Kendrick Lamar appeared on Hot 97’s morning radio show to give the world an update on what’s to come from one of the biggest name in Hip Hop these days. The self-proclaimed “King of NY” touched on a number of subjects, including how he wrote “i” for “the homies that’s in the penitentiary right now, and I also wrote a record for these kids that come up to my shows with these slashes on they wrists, saying they don’t want to live no more.”
K-dot also touched on that infamous text Macklemore sent him after the Seattle rapper beat him for the Grammy in the Best Rap Album category. Check out the 30 minute-plus interview above.
