Foo Fighters continue their run of club shows in support of each new episode of their HBO docu-series Sonic Highways and this weekend they found themselves in famed LA club The Roxy. The band treated the “City of Angels” with a special live cover of Jane’s Addiction’s “Mountain Song” with a little help from Joe Walsh and none other JA frontman, Perry Farrell.
The result was a thunderous rendition of the track, from Farrell’s signature vocals to Walsh’s sweet guitar solo, it was cool to see them deliver an arena-like performance to the confines of the 500-capacity club. Check out the fan-shot footage (s/o Kimball Shirley) above.
