What’s looking like it’s going to be an annual thing, the NBA has announced this year’s Christmas Day jerseys. The result is, once again, sort of strange.
The re-design features centered enlarged team logos over the chest with an equally enlarged number right underneath, but what makes this lose any chance of looking cool was that they went from having a player’s name written at the top of the back of the jersey, to mid-back with a white background. Not only that, but they switched from the traditional practice of featuring the player’s last name, to their first. Why though?
