During the latest episode of the Foo Fighters’ HBO series Sonic Highways, Dave Grohl revealed Kurt Cobain’s reaction to his early solo recordings saying “Kurt heard that, and kissed me on the face, as he was in a bath.”
Also revealed in the episode focusing on Seattle, producer Barrett Jones says Grohl had written something like 40 solo songs in those last days of Nirvana before a solo track of his from that era, “Hooker On The Street” was reveled. The song has now surfaced online and has been made available for streaming.
