Last night saw the beginning of “Foo Fighters Week” on Late Show with David Letterman and it started with a real bang as they kicked things off with a 70’s Metal classic, “War Pigs.” The Foos enlisted Zac Brown, who is also set to appear on Sonic Highways, to perform this Black Sabbath cover and they did an excellent job with it. Brown sang the first couple of verses until Dave Grohl took over for the more lively sections of the song.
It’s always good to see a group send mainstream TV a reminder of just how badass the band that made Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi icons, famous.
Prior to that performance, Grohl met Letterman to talk a bit about the new album and told a little story about how one day his young daughter became a fan of Rap. See that below.
