The dawn of The SoX is fast approaching…
Long-time POD favorite Chance The Rapper has revealed that this year he will be delivering the highly-anticipated follow-up to Acid Rap. In an exclusive conversation with Billboard, the Chicago native revealed that his new album, now with his band The Social Experiment (Donnie Trumpet, Peter Cottontale, Nate Fox, Stix), will be called ‘Surf’ and it will be delivered by the end of the year… for free!
Chano mentioned that this new project boasts production help from Frank Ocean and the legendary Rick Rubin, while acts like Migos and J. Cole will be featured as vocal collaborators. While that is plenty exciting news, we love the fact that Nico (Donnie Trumpet) will be the first to drop a Social Experiment project and that Chance will be a part of that.
More details are yet to come but in the meantime read the whole article over at Billboard to learn everything we know so far of what’s to come.
