Last night was the finale of “George Harrison” on Conan, which was capped by a performance from Norah Jones playing “Behind That Locked Door,” off All Things Must Pass. Jones’ connection to the late Beatle runs deep, her father is Ravi Shankar, and who was deeply influential to Harrison’s interest for learning to play sitar and the Eastern world.
Props to Jones for taking on such an emotive song, and doing so with an excellent live rendition. See it above.
