The Art of McCartney pays tribute to Sir Paul’s legendary work with some of the music world’s biggest stars covering his greatest compositions. The video above shows “School’s Out” rocker Alice Cooper cover “Eleanor Rigby,” and it’s almost weird to see just how excellent his vocals come out on this version. And there’s something particularly perfect about how this clip ends: showing a black-and-white picture of Cooper in his signature makeup.
In the video below, Cooper is shown working behind the scenes as he’s recording “Smile Away” off Ram and talks about the influence that McCartney’s music had on him.
