The week of September 22nd Conan will pay tribute to the life of late Beatle, George Harrison with performances from Beck and Norah Jones. “George Harrison Week” will take place right when Harrison’s box set, The Apple Years: 1968-75, is released; the box set compiles the “silent Beatle’s” first six solo albums.
More announcers are to be announced, but his son, Dhani Harrison, is also slated to make an appearance on the show. This coincides with LA’s George Fest, an event honoring Harrison with performances from members of The Strokes, The Killers, and The Flaming Lips.
