As the Reflektor Tour rolls on, the anticipation builds daily for seeing who will the Arcade Fire cover next? Last night in Brooklyn, NY the band paid tribute to an NYC iconic band and did so with a little help from a local.
AF have a 3-night stint at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center with each night proving to be a can’t miss spectacle. The first night saw New York Dolls frontman, David Johansen join them to perform for his song, “Hot Hot Hot” (see below). Last night they pretended that the special guests would be The Talking Heads by playing “Psycho Killer” in bobble heads (below) but then introduced Marky Ramone who would go on to fittingly play The Ramones’ “I Don’t Wanna Go Down To The Basement” and “I Wanna Be Sedated.” Arcade Fire sure made going Punk sound excellent and you can see for yourself above.
