One of the biggest revelations of the previous year is without a doubt teen singer, Lorde and for good reason the young New Zealander had a sub-headlining spot at this year’s Lollapalooza just behind Arctic Monkeys. I included the reference to her age only to remind people that she’s that young, and that damn good. While I can’t claim myself a huge fan of the singer, I do enjoy whatever I’ve heard of hers and her set included several album cuts that are by now absolute fan-favorites. Her set was captivating and her vocal talents are a real force to be reckoned, but her stage presence made her look like a seasoned veteran that was always meant to rock a main stage.
