Check out the debut EP from songstress, Lee Woods. It’s titled F I R E and is the product of “love affairs with older men, Xanax addiction, and coming down from hard drugs on a plane.” The death of 12 friends due to overdose led to a switch for sobriety and a move from the City of Angels to the Windy City, where she teamed up with Garrett Eaton to create this collection of soul-pop 5-tracks. The music boasts live instrumentation and smooth production for a foundation to some dark themes.
