Landon Donovan, arguably the best player to in MLS and US soccer history, announced yesterday that he will be retiring from the “beautiful game” at the end of the season. At just 32, he’s still got some years to play well in the MLS but for his own personal reasons he’ll soon be hanging up the boots, but not without several record-setting achievements. Donovan will retire as the all-time leading goalscorer (138 to date) in MLS history and you can see a video of all the goals up to his record-breaking 136th goal over at the MLS website by clicking the image above.
