The World Cup may be over but there’s no reason to stop loving the “beautiful game” if you’re a soccer fan living stateside, so KickTV and Mike Magee (Chicago Fire forward and reigning league MVP) have put together an excellent spot to remind you to continue following the sport by supporting the MLS. The short is a parody on the iconic 80’s film, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off with Mike Magee playing the central character that takes the day off of training by faking being sick. The clip also features the LA Galaxy’s Omar Gonzalez, Sydney Leroux, Hope Solo, NY Red Bulls’ Thierry Henry, Bruce Arena and other figures of the league.
