Flea, most famously from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, got together with the main members of the Mars Volta, Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala (plus mid-era Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch), to form the new band, Antemasque.
Along with the announcement of the formation of this new supergroup comes a new track of theirs titled “4AM.” The music is a lot grittier and has more of a back-to-basics sound than the Prog-Rock we’re used to from Mars Volta records, but it’s still a cool track nonetheless. You can also see a video of rehearsal footage of the creation of the new track.
