Nike Football/Soccer has unveiled the 2014 Away Kit The Netherlands will be wearing at the World Cup with the help of Joël Veltman, Davy Klaassen and Jean-Paul Boëtius at Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. The new jersey features a unique and very dope design influenced by Dutch culture.
The shirt has:
“… an isometric grid pattern of interlocking chevrons that start at the top as bright blue and gradually become darker, ending as imperial purple at the hem.
The pattern has a glow and depth, representing the prominence of water in Dutch life and the country’s landscape.
The blue in the pattern signifies the Dutch royal family and the color of the cross that appears in their official flag.”
This one, paired with the home kit, assures that The Netherlands will undoubtedly be one of the best national squads at the World Cup. See more pics below.
