World Cup 2014 hosts chose a very special opponent to debut their new away kit today, that being the last hosts of the world championships, South Africa. Starting the first half of the match in Johannesburg with their iconic verde-amarela, the Brazilians entered the pitch for the second half for the first time with their new away kits by Nike.
The away kit is in its traditional blue and features tonal horizontal stripes that “celebrate the country’s national pride through a series of tiny geometric circles and diamonds taken from the Brasilian flag. Blue gradients of the stripes add to the jersey’s dynamic style.”
