After launching the world’s first ever knitted boot, adidas now bring to you the world’s lightest boot ever: the adizero™ f50 crazylight.
According to the news release, the new soccer cleat weighs only 135g (about 4.76oz), the adizero™ f50 crazylight is the lightest commercial football (soccer) boot ever produced, 20% lighter than the adidas adizero™ f50.
The sleek black and green coloured arrow design showcases the perception of forward motion, with the iconic adidas three-stripes in bright orange. The SPEEDTRAXION stud configuration on the outsole, laser etched and a premium anodized coating is also added to minimise weight and guarantee a premium finish on the overall design, has been rearranged in order to increase traction, while also further decreasing the overall weight of the boot.
The new adizero™ f50 crazylight will be worn on field exclusively by Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale, who officially debuted the boots today (Tuesday, March 18th) when Real Madrid C.F. beat FC Schalke 04 3-1 in the UEFA Champions League second leg tie.
