Continuing “Beatles Tribute Week” at Late Show with David Letterman, Lenny Kravitz was the next one up to play a Beatles cover at the historic Ed Sullivan Theater. Kravitz played the closing number from Let It Be, the last full studio release from the band. While the cover stayed true to the original, this version felt fresh and definitely worked, especially thanks to Paul Shaffer’s organ work sounding every bit as good as Billy Preston’s original.
