The fashion brand John Varvatos has called on none other than music icons, KISS for their Spring/Summer 2014 campaign. In the video above, you see exactly why Varvatos called on the band as co-founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley apply their legendary makeup and talk about their mission as members of KISS. The video also shows the band performing at the intimate confines of 315 Bowery (formerly the site of CBGB) in a secret show for 200 guests.
For anyone who’s not a long-time fan of the band such as myself, this campaign also draws a bit of inspiration from the band’s 1975 album, Dressed To Kill. To further justify the band’s legendary status, they’ll be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame this year. Badass band for a badass clothing brand is an instant success in my book.
