New York Red Bulls’ Tim Cahill needed only 7 seconds (!!) to open up the score against Houston Dynamo earlier today (10/20), making it the fastest goal scored in MLS history. Not only did it make history in America’s soccer league, but it was also a pretty great goal. His team went on to win the match 3-0, keeping them at the top of the league and in turn helping our Chicago Fire stay alive in the playoff race.
See that historic goal above.
