It is safe to say that my favorite band from the 2000’s and on is The Strokes, so whenever these guys come out with new material I get excited to hear what they’ve delivered. One of the band’s two guitarists, Albert Hammond, Jr., has been the most consistent on the solo work front, now releasing a third EP. The latest is St. Justice, which follow previous projects ¿Cómo Te Llama? and his solo debut (and a personal favorite of mine) Yours To Keep.
AHJ’s voice is a lot sweeter than Casablanca’s signature snarl, but that very familiar guitar work that made us fall for the band’s music is still present on the EP. Stream AHJ over Rolling Stone.
